Weather Tides and Gold Rings

As I have said in the past, in order to improve your odds of finding that buried gold you must learn how to determine if the conditions on the beach are going to be in your favor.
The first thing to note is the current tides. You can do this several ways. I found this website that sells tide clocks. These clever little devices look like a normal clock but instead of telling you the time, they tell you the current tide. Pretty handy if I do say so myself. The web address is http://www.nauticaltideclocks.com
You can also find out the current tide at this website. I think it has everywhere covered. http://www.saltwatertides.com/pickpred.html
After you have determined the tides, you might want to know the current weather conditions. You can find them at weather.com.
I have a few tools that I use. These can tell you things that the others can not. I like to see the current marine forecast. It can tell what the wind and wave projections are. This can be extremely valuable. http://www.weather.gov/om/marine/home.htm
Using all of these tools can improve your odds greatly. You might even end up with some gold like this metal detecting find.
